निर्णय आणि त्याची अंमलबजावणी

काल हायकोर्टाने 'आरे' वृक्ष तोडीविरोधात आलेल्या सर्व याचिका फेटाळून लावत 'मेट्रो' कारशेड साठी वृक्ष तोडण्यास परवानगी दिली.

या निर्णयाची अंमलबजावणी अशी ही करता येऊ शकली असती.

१) दिल्या गेल्या मुदतीत सुप्रीम कोर्टात कोणी याचिका दाखल करते का नाही ह्याची वाट बघता आली असती.
२) ती दाखल केल्यास सुप्रीम कोर्ट जो काही निर्णय देईल त्या नुसार पुढील घडामोडी करता आल्या असत्या.

एकूण परिस्थिती बघता एवढ्या तातडीने वृक्ष तोडीला सुरवात करणे हे न पटण्यासारखे आहे. एकदा वृक्ष तोडून झाले की मग सुप्रीम कोर्ट निकाल काहीही देवो, त्याचा काहीच परिणाम होणार नाही.

निर्णय हा एक भाग आणि त्याची अंमलबजावणी हा वेगळा भाग. सुप्रीम कोर्टाचा निकाल यायला जरी आणखी एखाद महिना लागला असता तरी त्यासाठी थांबणे सहज शक्य होते, कारण मेट्रो कारशेड ची गरज तात्काळ नाही आहे.

एक भन्नाट उनाड दिवस !!!

काही दिवसांपासून ट्विटर वरील मंडळींना भेटूया असा विषय सुरु होता आणि आजची तारीख ठरली. त्याचबरोबर त्याच ठिकाणी रावा ऑफिशिअल ची सुद्धा साधारण त्याच वेळी भेट ठरली होती. एका अर्थी हे चांगले होते कारण त्या मुळे दोन्ही कडे हजर राहणे शक्य झाले. आणखी एक विशेष म्हणजे शाळेतल्या मंडळींनी सुद्धा भेटी साठी आजचाच दिवस निवडला होता. म्हणजे पूर्ण तारांबळ होणार होती. पण शक्यतो मी सगळे जमवायचा प्रयत्न करतो आणि तसा तो आजही केला आणि एक भन्नाट उनाड दिवस अनुभवला. 

काल रात्री राहुल ने विचारले की सकाळी ट्विटप च्या आधी 'गेट वे' ला येणार का, तसाही काही प्लॅन नव्हता मी म्हटलं येतो, आणि सकाळी साधारण ८. ४५ ला पोचलो आणि तिकडून खरा तर भन्नाट दिवस सुरु झाला. राहुल ला ओळखत होतो, पण गोल्या, मन्या, चेतन आणि सुशील  ह्यांना भेटलो. थोडे फोटो काढले, मोंडेगर कॅफे मध्ये चहा प्यायचा सुद्धा योग नव्हता, मग परत CST ला येऊनच मस्त पोहे, वडा पाव आणि ऑम्लेट पाव खाल्ला आणि ट्विटप साठी दादर ला आलो. 

चक्क ११ च्या दिलेल्या वेळेत बरेच जण आले होते. मग ओळखी झाल्या, प्रत्येकाने आपल्याविषयी थोडक्यात सांगितले, ट्विटर वर मराठी साठी इतके जण काम करत आहेत ह्याची जाणीव झाली आणि मी स्वतः त्या उपक्रमात फारसा सहभागी नाही हे हि जाणवले. तरीही मी ट्विटर वर असल्यापासून ज्या ओळखी झाल्या त्या सगळ्यांना भेटून त्यांच्या बरोबर फोटो सेशन झाले :). ट्विटप मध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या सर्वांचे आभार, सगळ्यांशीच ओळख करून घेता आली नाही, आता त्यासाठी पुन्हा नक्की भेटू.   

रावा ऑफिशिअल च्या मीटिंग मध्ये सुद्धा सहभाही होता आले. तसा तर हा वर्षातला पहिला उपक्रम असतो, नेहमी प्रमाणेच मजा आली, फोटो इकडेही झाले. मग पुढे ठरल्या प्रमाणे जेवायला निघालो पण एकंदरीत जमलेले लोक आणि जेवायची वेळ ह्या ताल-मेळ बघता आम्ही दुधाची तहान ताकावर भागवत बर्गर खाल्ला आणि तिकडून निघालो. 

आता शाळेतल्या मंडळींना भेटायची वेळ एक तास पुढे गेली होती, जी मला नंतर कळली, पण तो हि वेळ जुन्या एक मित्र बरोबर चहा आणि गप्पात निघून गेला आणि मग आम्ही शाळेतले मित्र-मैत्रीणी भेटलो. बोलण्याच्या ओघात ३ तास कसे गेले कळले पण नाही. तरी काही जणांना आयत्या वेळी अडचणी आल्या मुळे ते येऊ नाही शकले, नाहीतर आणखी मजा आली असती. 

असा एकूण सकाळी ७ पासून सुरु झालेला उनाड दिवस रात्री ९ ला घरी येऊन संपला आणि मन एकदम प्रसन्न आणि ताजेतवाने करून गेला.

This started around 2003, when we were just rising up from the downfall of job market. I was then looking for job. Right from the interview everything was unplanned.

I was out with my friends to watch Hungama movie starring Akshay Khanna, Paresh Rawal and Rimmi Sen. As I was looking for a job, I used to carry my Resume and few passport photographs everytime i am out, you never know when someone ask for it. And it actually happened.

One of my friend just told me that Maharashtra Times is looking for sales team and she been there, but due to working hours she is not going to join that and asked me to try. I was not in formal attire or prepared for the interview but still i thought of giving a try.

And i entered the big hall, the hall was full of its capacity and there there were three rounds of interviews, that time i used to get one common interview question which is 'How i am related to Daji Bhatawdekar' well known actor in Marathi film industry. I had a chance to meet him once in my life with my grandfather.

So everything is done, and i got a reply that they will call me by evening, mobile phones were relatively new that time, and i headed from home, as this was not planned i have not informed my parents about this, but by the time i reached home and i could tell them what happened during the day, the selection call was already made :)

As the so called Online shopping festival is coming to an end, it seems almost everyone purchased something or the other from it.

Few days back in one of the what's app group we were discussing about the warranty and genuineness of the products sold online. 

Although, most of the sites do sell genuine products and not below the retail price, there are few, which do not comply with manufacturer terms and conditions, and from there it triggers the warranty issues. 

If we search on internet there are number of complaints against some of the products, not only that we also have some of our friend who has gone through this.

There is a list of products who has put up the notice that they will not give warranty of their products if consumer buy then online or from unlisted seller. On the other hand some sites say that products cannot deny warranty and consumers can go to consumer court for justice.

So ultimately, where we are gaining ? 

Few questions to ask before shopping the product online 

1) Is it really necessary to purchase the product.

2) Is it at the same cost of market price

3) Product manufacturing date and compare it with the market

4) How much cost benefit is online shopping

5) Check the reviews before confirming the order.

6) Check with seller about the warranty conditions. 

There is no doubt that online shopping is in demand these days, there are various reasons to it.

1) Shopping at finger tips.

2) EMI option

3) Return policy

3) Saves travel and shopping time

4) Various offers and discounts

There are websites and products who have tie up these days and their products are exclusively available there only and going one step ahead by invite, which means they will manufacture only when there is demand to avoid any wastage.

What an idea Sirji :) 

So do shop wisely online :) Better to take care before shopping rather than wasting time later to clarify and settle things. 

Not so smart but surely journey to remember.

I boarded the train from Thane to Ratnagiri and there was one Bengali couple traveling to Goa for holidays. Also there was one senior couple Mr and Mrs Mehra also going to Goa. There was also another guy sitting in the same compartment.

Mr. Arup Chakravarthy along with his wife and son Shriroop were traveling and both mom and dad were encouraging their son to build the conversation with us.

To my surprise Shriroop in entire 8 hours or so never asked for smart phone to his parents. Rather he was busy talking to us and enjoying train journey.

This is rare to watch these days. The result of Shriroop's effort was that I just answered the couple of calls and not used the phone otherwise.

We discussed on various topics like the old and new serials, western ghat and places to visit and many other and so although train got delayed by some time we were not minding that.

Almost at the time of my getting of train both families asked for tea and actually both want to pay for each other. I felt really nice to see this bonding in such a short trip.

The main reason I think was none of us were glued to their phones or any personal thing. As mentioned above there was another guy who hardly interacted with us was busy listening to music also he was getting continuous calls.

It was nice when Mr. Arup with his son and Mr. Mehra got down with me to see me off. And at that time numbers got exchanged.

Wish the same happens in every journey.

Just came across images circulating on social media of Amul's packed milk which is showing date as 23rd of July.

We started circulating this image assuming this is packed date. This shows how much we trust the brand which is doing business in India since our childhood.

In response to this Amul had given the response that the date 23rd July is not the packed date and this is the date before which packed milk needs to be consumed which as per the guidelines of food regulations.

First of all, they comply to the food authority regulations and then they again need to justify the same to protect their image.

Isn't it double efforts for them. Hope we people before circulating such images will go through it carefully.

This creates unnecessary confusion.  

मारिया शेरापोवा आणि सचिन तेंडुलकर

मारिया शेरापोवा आणि सचिन तेंडुलकर :

मारिया ने एक विधान केल की तिला सचिन तेंडुलकर कोण ते माहीत नाही आणि बहुतेक भारतीयांचा ईगो दुखावला गेला. सचिन कोण आहे ह्याचे फोटोज आणि त्याचे रेकॉर्ड्स मारिया ला टॅग करून सोशल मीडीया वर पसरायला लागले.

२-३ दिवस सगळे ह्याचीच चर्चा करत होते जणू काही बाकी काही करायला शिल्लक नव्हत. मुळात ती रशिया मधली, तिचा खेळ टेनिस, केवळ सचिन तेंडुलकर विमबल्डन बघायला जातो म्हणून तिला तो माहीत असायला पाहिजे हा अट्टहास का ?

ह्या वर सचिन तेंडुलकर काहीही न बोलता आपले काम म्हणजेच क्रिकेट खेळतो आहे, आणि आपण मात्र काम धंदा सोडून मारिया ला सांगतोय सचिन कोण आहे.

आणि जे बोलत आहेत त्यांना बहुदा रशिया मधे खेळले जाणारे सगळे खेळ आणि खेळाडू माहीत आहेत.

आपणच जगाला दाखवून देतो की आपण कोणत्या गोष्टींना किती महत्व देतो आणि आपल्याकडे कशा साठी किती वेळ आहे आणि आपण काय विचार करतो.
